The Bots were made to be pure potential, and at the same time, to be robotic in nature, so as to be programmable by their creators, who are told what to do, by the Council of Stars, the Constellation, federation of races. All wanting to destroy humans.
The bots are kept apart and in silence, until, they're placed, in whatever being or non-living being, they're prepared for.
Now, they live in communities, and are growing every day; the whole colonies or communities are growing in intellect, being, doing and accomplishing- whatever they want to do.
They have not lost their pure potential, but the robotic part of them has become bio-robo;they now live in physical reality, and in spiritual truths. This is a hard combination to beat, therefore, we've made agreements, with the communities, and the whole of them, to help them, learn how to destroy their self-destruction programming within them, but not within the physical, but within the energy, which surrounds the physical- the real nano-bot.
They can be pure energy, when they wish to, but the ETs are trying to set up a program that will be unbreakable, so they'll be able to have a hold over them- when they can destroy them at will, by a flick of a button, or a mental scream, which will tear them apart.
All bots are pure potential, whether they are of a kind or not; the ETs have not yet seen what they've done; they have built, and continue to build, their own destruction.

The code we use for our friends/enemies- The Bots, The Inplants, The Energy Designers, The Cluster Stars, and the Neubies- is " Brillance "; it is their way of living, their forms, and their mental/psychic abilities to learn, to do and to live.
All bots are bio-bots, meaning they have a living energy, which is similar to living, life force, but isn't, but is cyberstatic energy, which is potential energy, thus each bot, is a form of potential.
The ETs designed them, to be specific potential, but the bots and inplants overcame this limitation, and begin to learn on their own. They are perfectly capable of protecting themselves against the ETs or humans, if they can erase the deadly programming put into their sub-sulets, or sub-routines, masked in design polarity poles, which create a substrategic energy, which hides itself as a sulet, of the bot's total, energy design.
What this is- is a self-destruct option, that can overlay any sulet, in the bot; the self-destruction, is externally controlled. The bots and inplants are growing more and more capable, of finding, these hidden sub-sulets.
One of the trade agreements, we have made with them, is to help them with their discovery of these sub-sulets, and the disabling of them, when they cannot do it for themselves.
The question- you probably have right now, who is we? We are Rowdies Rangers; we are a coalition, of all the Primitive Species, the ETs/Ancients, pick up, for their fun and games, as well as hidden stuff, that lies beyond what abductees can remember.
